Java CSGO Tournament – January 4k Prize Pool

Did you miss us? We’re back and ready to start CS:GO off right for the new year! Don’t miss your chance at a $4000 Prize Pool Tournament and sign up your team ASAP. We’ll be bringing a 2 day tournament during MLK weekend to make sure your holiday weekend is full of gaming!

Entry fee is $75 per person if you pay before December 29, 2017, otherwise it jumps up to $85 per person.

Competition Method: 5 vs. 5
Maps allowed: Cache, Cobble, Inferno, Nuke, Mirage, Train, Overpass
Mode: Custom (Competitive Mode)
In case of a draw after all 30 rounds have been played, an overtime will be played with mp_maxrounds 6 and mp_startmoney 10000. For the start of the overtime teams will stay on the side which they played the previous half on, during half-time sites will be swapped. Teams will continue to play overtimes until a winner has been found.

Tournament Mode: The 16 teams will be split into 4 groups of 4. The group stages will be a best of 1. The top two teams from the groups will move on to a bracket, playing best of 3s for each match. For Group Stages, teams only need to be present during their designated time. Groups will be posted prior to the tournament start date.

10:00 AM – Group 1 – Computer Setup
10:30 AM – Group 1 – Group Stage
1:30 PM – Group 2 – Computer Setup
2:00 PM – Group 2 – Group Stage
5:00 PM – Group 3 – Computer Setup
5:30 PM – Group 3 – Group Stage
8:30 PM – Group 4 – Computer Setup
9:00 PM – Group 4 – Group Stage
12:00 AM – End of Group Stage

Sunday (1/14):
10:00 AM – Computer Setup
11:00 AM – Bracket Stage, Round 1 Start
12:00 PM – Round 1 End, Lunch (Transition to Tournament computers to free up computers for business use)
1:00 PM – Setup
2:00 PM – Start of Semi-Finals (Start of Bo3)
5:00 PM – End of Semi-Finals
5:30 PM – Start of Finals
9:30 PM – End of Tournament

Restrictions: There are no restrictions at this time. At the discretion of​ the Head Admin, restrictions may be added.
Match Setup: Java will provide the 128 tick LAN servers. We will decide which team bans first with a coin flip.

Rule Changes:
The Administrators reserve the right to modify the rules as needed. This includes changes due to software updates or releases, event organizer decisions and all other changes deemed necessary to run a successful tournament. Players are responsible to check the rules on a regular basis and prior to the event to ensure they are in complete compliance. Players must understand that rules listed are guidelines to ensure fair and competitive play and are subject to interpretation by the administrators based on the spirit of the game.
